F.A.Q.
Below, in the Legvideo FAQs, you’ll find some answers to the questions we’re most frequently asked here at Legvideo Videomaker Torino.
If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to get in touch using the form in the sidebar, or via the contact details on the Contact page.
Who is Legvideo?
My name is Massimo, and I’m from Turin, in north-west Italy. I’ve been working in this sector for 10 years. I love taking on new challenges and engaging with different people, different contexts and different needs. I love building that rapport with clients to create videos that are effective and personal.
I always take a hands-on approach, overseeing every stage of the project, from the initial stages right through to the final edit, whilst working alongside reliable and professional colleagues.
Who actually makes the videos?
The filming is carried out by me or by one of my team members; I do not entrust filming to professionals I have never worked with, nor do I entrust it to inexperienced or untrained staff.
How far in advance should I contact you about a wedding video?
For both organisational and logistical reasons, it’s a good idea to get in touch at least 9–12 months before the wedding.
Of course, with such a long lead time, we won’t be finalising the details of the day just yet; for those, we always arrange a call one month before the ceremony.
However, we’re also available to help with special circumstances where there’s only a few months’ notice.
How many weddings do you take on each day?
We work on just one wedding a day; this is because we are not a ‘wedding factory’ – we don’t have 10 teams working at the same time – simply because it would be impossible to maintain the standard of quality we aim to offer.
Having so many teams working at the same time means relying on professionals who are little known and often poorly trained (and therefore ‘cheaper’). This results in a very ‘standard’ and impersonal outcome.
Legvideo Videomaker Turin treats every wedding as a ‘unique’ event, tailored to the tastes and needs of the bride and groom.
Do you only operate in Piedmont, Italy?
Absolutely not. We operate throughout the country, and we often travel to France, Switzerland, Spain and Germany as well.
For work outside our region, we usually simply add the ‘logistical’ costs of travelling to those destinations (fuel, flight tickets, etc.) to our standard rates; this allows us to maintain highly competitive prices even for work carried out in other countries.
How much does it cost to make a video?
Much less than it used to be.
New technologies require a great deal of expertise, but they also deliver significant savings.
We handle both the filming and the video editing ourselves, which enables us to offer excellent value for money on our products.
For most of our projects, we use our own equipment, which allows us to avoid ‘hire’ costs that often have a significant impact on the final price.
Can you issue an invoice?
Legvideo is a sole trader with its own VAT number, duly registered with the Turin Chamber of Commerce, which issues an invoice for any work carried out, thereby providing the client with a guarantee of the work performed.
Do you film with a drone?
We work with properly registered drones; we hold the necessary licences and insurance, so we can carry out drone filming in all situations where the law permits it.
For every job where we are asked to use a drone, we check for any ‘no-fly zones’ and promptly notify you if it is not possible to carry out the filming.
If you have any queries, please contact us and we will be happy to provide you with further information on the matter.
